Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative – New York


 

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Manage the sales and growth of the territory.
  • Forge strong relationships with a new and existing customer base. This includes design engineers, municipal engineers, developers and contractors.
  • Develop specifications and approvals.
  • Identify projects through contacts and referrals.
  • Manage and maintain sales projects/folders from conceptual stage to the order stage.
  • Perform weekly sales presentations and attend trade shows.
  • Provide technical information and support in preconstruction meetings.
  • Coordinate and oversee installation process.

 

Requirements


  • Other qualifications include strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point), Auto Cad and must enjoy the benefits of travel.
  • Experience in land development, municipal review, water resource engineering, construction management or technical sales is a benefit.

 

Education:


  • The desired candidate will have a civil engineering / construction management degree or related work experience.
