Recharge Groundwater and Reduce Stormwater Runoff

StormTrap provides underground stormwater infiltration systems to meet your site’s individual needs. A stormwater infiltration system differs from a detention solution as it allows the water to slowly discharge into the soil instead of detaining it for a time before it is released. This helps to avoid flooding and erosion. It also provides quality advantages because it filters the runoff water through the native soil to effectively reduce pollutants in the runoff, such as oil, grease, heavy metals and more.

Large Surface Area Increases Efficiency

The SingleTrap infiltration design provides a large infiltrative surface area that allows water to recharge back into the native soil, while preserving the land above for parks, roadways or parking lots. The infiltration system can also help meet low impact development (LID) goals by reducing the volume of stormwater runoff produced by development.
