Installing a StormTrap system can also contribute toward LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification. LEED certifications were developed by the U.S. Green Building Council as a framework for implementing sustainable development solutions.

StormTrap systems can help projects qualify for Sustainable Sites (SS), Water Efficiency (WE), and Materials and Resources (MR) LEED credits. LEED certifications are internationally recognized as promoting green and environmentally friendly building practices.
