StormTrap’s General Sales Manager for the Northeast Region, Brett Holmes, P.E., recently became a Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality (CPSWQ). This accreditation was achieved through his educational attainments, work experience and successful completion of a rigorous written exam.
Holmes is a Maine State Professional Engineer who is passionate about helping solve stormwater issues. He has worked in the stormwater management field for seven years and holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Maine. His educational background and experience gives him a unique ability and specialized expertise on the importance of water quality and water quantity controls in stormwater management.
As a newly Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality, Holmes meets Federal requirements’, including the US Environmental Protection Agency’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System, definition of “Qualified Personnel.” Holmes has proven his proficiency on subjects including: regulations, permit application requirements, enforcement and penalties, safety and communication issues, documentation, compliance resolution, appropriate inspection skills, plans management and best management practices.
At StormTrap, Holmes manages the Northeast team of five sales professionals and is responsible for educating engineers, contractors, developers and regulatory bodies on the advancements in stormwater management and best practices.
