CP5 Campus Point
Project Details
CP5 Campus Point is part of a development consisting of multiple buildings in the University City area of San Diego, CA. This facility is designated for university and educational use.
As a part of the project, StormTrap was chosen to provide a hydromodification system due to its structural strength and cost efficiency. The basin was built with 141 SingleTrap units of ranging heights of 4’-2”, 4’-6”, and 5’-8”, minimizing the overall footprint in a tight construction zone. Existing site constraints required the system to be installed with a soil cover between 10 and 13 feet. The basin rests on a concrete slab and is designed to hold 66,294 cubic feet of stormwater beneath a grassy field.
