We’re proud to partner with Loyola University Chicago, Wendella Tours & Cruises, and Friends of the Chicago River to support their effort in improving the health and appearance of our waterway.

This project features a floating TrashTrap that uses the natural flow of the river to direct floating litter into durable nets, operating 24/7 without electricity. The collected materials are analyzed by Loyola University faculty and students to better understand debris trends and help inform long-term solutions.

For over 30 years, TrashTrap systems have helped communities across the United States protect waterways and improve water quality, one net at a time.
