Alexander Crossing is a 176-unit high-end residential apartment complex located in Durham, NC. Due to construction and the increase in impervious surface coverage, an underground stormwater management solution was required on-site.

StormTrap designed a 7-foot-tall sand filter system, meeting the City of Durham’s stormwater requirements for both quantity and quality. The system features separate sedimentation and sand filter areas for effective runoff treatment, and a detention section that provides the necessary storage and controlled stormwater release. This basin was installed under a parking lot in just 3 days.
