A steel company in Shelbyville, TN, expanded its production facilities and required additional on-site space for a laydown yard. This expansion created the need for a stormwater detention system capable of supporting the weight of steel beams and the forklifts used to transport them.

To meet these requirements, StormTrap designed a 6′-0″ SingleTrap system with the capacity to store up to 55,000 cubic feet of stormwater. A StormSettler device was also installed to meet local sediment removal regulations and ensure compliance with water quality standards.
