A StormTrap detention system was installed underneath a parking lot to replace a broken corrugated metal pipe that had been used for water retention.

Challenge

The main challenge of this project was the space constraints from the active business and closeness in proximity to its neighboring properties.

Solution

StormTrap provided a stormwater detention system that fit within the allotted footprint without disturbing normal business operations. The installation was made with a crane and the pieces were transported in a HS-20 loading truck to the site where they were picked off the truck and placed into their designated spot in less than 10 minutes.
