Project Details

The Long Island Railroad needed to renovate its commuter parking lots at the Speonk station in Suffolk County, New York. As part of the project, StormTrap was selected to provide stormwater management and treatment solutions.

StormTrap provided a 10′-0″ DoubleTrap basin to infiltrate stormwater as well as a SiteSaver hydrodynamic separator to use as a pretreatment device to remove sediments. The 50 piece system was installed underneath a parking lot and can hold and treat 25,583 cubic feet of storm water.
