Ohio Department of Transportation
Project Details
The Ohio Department of Transportation installed a StormTrap detention system at an I-75 off ramp near Cincinnati, OH to reduce the rate of stormwater flowing into the Combined Sewer System.
Challenge
The major challenges of the project was that the site was tight, deep, and located very close to an interstate highway.
Solution
By installing the StormTrap system, the stormwater flowing rate was reduced. The system fit in a small footprint and 116 units were delivered and installed in three days.
John R. Jurgensen, general contractor of the project stated that “StormTrap system was selected for its small footprint, speed of installation, durability and lower overall project cost”.
