Primont Homes developed Hillmont at SXSW Condos, located at Islington Ave & Steeles Ave W in Vaughan, Ontario. The development features a 30-story residential tower surrounded by parks, trails, and convenient access to transit.

To effectively manage stormwater without sacrificing square footage, StormTrap’s DoubleTrap tall storage tank was selected. The tall tank was specifically chosen to minimize the underground footprint while still storing 892 m³ of stormwater.

Installed by Niran Construction in October 2022, the system serves a dual function of infiltration and detention. As stormwater enters, it first fills a dedicated infiltration zone that is absorbed into the surrounding soil. This ensures that small, frequent storms are fully retained on site. During larger storms, once the infiltration area is full, the active detention storage begins to fill.
