USPS in Boise
Project Details
A shallow SingleTrap retention and infiltration system was designed to accommodate site constraints, existing infrastructure, and challenging
soil conditions.
Challenge
The project’s site constraints required a shallow system that accommodated an existing catch basin, limited depth, and soil bearing pressure.
Solution
A 1′-8″ SingleTrap detention system was installed in about 2 weeks time, providing 5,008 cubic feet of underground stormwater storage. The system delivers the depth and capacity needed to support USPS’ stormwater needs. To address the soil bearing pressure a geogrid was installed along the stone foundation.
