Oil/Water Separation
Eliminate Hydrocarbons
Use baffle chambers to eliminate oil, grease, fat and other hydrocarbons from stormwater runoff
Use baffle chambers to eliminate oil, grease, fat and other hydrocarbons from stormwater runoff
As stormwater runoff enters the baffle chambers and meets the baffles, flow velocity decreases and particles with a settling velocity greater than the horizontal flow settle to the bottom of the chamber. As stormwater runoff continues to flow through the chamber, smaller particles continue to settle out and eliminate the oil, grease, fat and other hydrocarbons that are in the runoff. StormTrap oil/water separators can be designed as a stand-alone system or incorporated into the StormTrap system.
