StormTrap Stormwater System Foundations

In this video, you will discover the different foundations for various stormwater applications. The stone base and strip footing allow for stormwater infiltration. The stone base provides a large infiltrative surface area that allows water to recharge back into the native soil. This type of foundation can also provide stormwater quality advantages through the infiltration process. Rainwater is naturally filtered as it percolates through the underlying soil.

The concrete pad foundation allows the StormTrap system to remain completely contained. These systems are designed to store runoff and slowly release it at a controlled rate into the city storm sewer or other waterways.
